Registration Guidelines:

A student should be able to perform the majority of the skills listed. If all skills can be performed, that is the class to take, NOT the next level. 

In order to determine what level a child should be placed in, you can refer to the following list.

***Ages 6 months to 3 years***

Mommy and Me Class (Non-Walking)-* (7 students to 1 instructor)
Students do not need to be able to walk or crawl. Students in this class do not need any prior experience. The instructor should teach the students based on their skill level.

Mommy and Me Class (Walking)-* (7 students to 1 instructor)
Students should be able to walk comfortably. Students in this class do not need any prior experience. The instructor should teach the students based on their skill level.

***Ages 3 to 5 years***

Preschool A (4 students to 1 instructor)
Students in this class do not need any prior experience.
Typically timid around the water

Preschool B (4 students to 1 instructor)
Comfortable in the water
Blow bubbles from the mouth and nose
Float on front and back (with assistance)

Preschool C (4 students to 1 instructor)
Very comfortable in the water
Bobbing (fully submerging head)
Combining arm and leg action on front and back (with assistance)

***Ages 6 to 18 years***

Level 1 (5 students to 1 instructor)
Students in this class do not need any prior experience
Typically timid around the water

Level 2 (5 students to 1 instructor)
Comfortable in the water
Bobbing (fully submerging head)
Float on front and back (with assistance)

Level 3 (5 students to 1 instructor)
Float on front 5 second
Float on back 15 seconds
Combining arm and leg action on front and back 5 body lengths

Level 4 (6 students to 1 instructor)
Rotary breathing
Front Crawl for 15 yards
Elementary backstroke for 15 yards
Float/Tread for 30 seconds
Sitting/kneeling dive

Level 5 (6 students to 1 instructor)
Front Crawl for 25 yards
Elementary backstroke for 25 yards
Breaststroke for 15 yards
Back Crawl for 15 yards
Butterfly for 15 yards
Sidestroke for 15 yards
Compact/Stride dive
Feet first surface dive

Level 6 (6 students to 1 instructor)
Front Crawl for 50 yards
Elementary backstroke for 50 yards
Breaststroke for 25 yards
Back Crawl for 25 yards
Butterfly for 25 yards
Sidestroke for 25 yards
Shallow angle dive
